Chemical foaming agents are very effective and popular in extrusion. In recent years, ADEKA has drawn on its many years of experience to develop new foaming agents for injection molding, particularly for automotive parts.

They can be used in any injection molding machine without the need to modify the production line. Over the years of using plastics in cars, consumers have become more demanding, and minimizing the smell of plastics inside the passenger compartment is now a key requirement. One of the new chemical foaming agent grades offered by ADEKA has the property not only of reducing the weight of the injected parts, but also the smell emitted by plastics.
